The page has been created as part of the Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements scheme, known as STAIRs, which is coming into effect on 1 October 2026. It will continue to develop over time, with additional information and resources being added as they become available.
This scheme designed to give social housing customers better access to information about how their homes and services are managed.

From 1 April 2027, the second phase of STAIRs will begin. If you're a social housing customer, you'll be able to make formal requests for information about how your home is managed. We'll explain how to make a request and what information you can ask for before this service becomes available.
